Title: Electrical Engineering Technician

Status: Non-Exempt


To be an integral part of a production team dedication to the assembly of systems. Work will include materials preparation, assembly, and testing.


  • Assembly
    • Harnessing
    • Small PCBs (surface mount components)
    • Electromechanical assemblies
    • Electrical enclosures
    • System subassemblies
  • Testing
    • PCB commissioning
    • PCB and assembly calibrations
    • Components
  • Documentation
    • Aid in creating process and assembly procedures
    • Inventory management
    • Inventory tracking
  • Knowledge of fundamental electronics
  • Experience in electrical system troubleshooting
  • Ability to operate in a small team with a minimum of supervision
  • Good Organizational and Planning skills
  • Works overtime as required


  • Minimum requirements: Technical 2-year degree or 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with mechanical assembly
  • Experience with wiring, reading wiring diagrams
  • Experience with wire harnessing and fabrication
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscope, soldering, IPC standards)
